Quick Shot of SNOW
Wednesday, February 13th, 2008Good Evening, Looks like winter may not quite be dead after all! In Raleigh we should see the rain changeover to snow in the next hour. The problem is that the best axis of moisture should line up north of Raleigh. For us it will be more of a spotty nature and hit or miss. Looking at the current radar trends, probably it won’t snow hard enough to accumulate on the grass, decks and tops of cars. But it wouldn’t take a lot to get a little accumulation. In Durham, it’s begun to accumulate a bit in the grass. Maybe we’ll get lucky and line up with one of those heavier showers.
Looking ahead, maybe there’s another shot of cold air coming after all. The signals are mixed. There may be a shot of arctic air that pushes deep into the south next week. We’ll see.
In the meantime…my wife and I are expecting our second son on Friday! Happy Baby!
